Behavior and Data Specialist –
Danielle Stettner was born and raised on Long Island and slowly made her way to a few different parts of the country before ending up back in New York. After graduating from Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island with a degree in Elementary and Middle school education, Danielle moved to sunny Orlando, Florida where she taught 5th grade. After teaching for two years Danielle decided she wanted to come back to the northeast and study at Hunter College where she received her Master’s in Special Education and Behavior Disorders. While in NYC, Danielle worked as a special education teacher in a 2nd and 3rd-grade classroom. Then, in 2016 she moved to Chicago where she worked with Middle School students as a Learning Behavior Specialist. While in Chicago she also earned a degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Southern Illinois University. Behavior is something that is a passion for Danielle and she is very excited and happy to be back in her home state helping Haven scholars build their problem-solving toolbox! When Danielle is not at Haven, you can find her on Long Island spending time with her family and her dog Luna or trying to find the best brunch spot in NYC!
