Teacher-
Raised in the Bronx, Destine discovered her passion for working with young children at the age of 14 while working at a sleepaway summer camp in Montague, NJ, and an after-school program in the South Bronx. She pursued this passion by earning an associate degree and a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Psychology. Currently, Destine is furthering her education as she works toward her Master’s in Early Childhood & Special Education (Birth-2). She is grateful to have found Haven early in her teaching career and is excited to be part of a loving, supportive, and culturally responsive community.
