Family and Student Specialist – Lauren was born and raised in Queens, NY. She received her bachelors degree in Sociology at SUNY New Paltz. In 2019, she graduated from New York University with her Masters in Social Work. During her 2 years in graduate school, Lauren was an MSW intern at Haven Academy, working closely with scholars and families to provide social emotional support. Lauren is currently working as a Family and Student Specialist for Pre-K and with families across grade bands in both elementary and middle school. In her free time, she likes to play softball, go to the beach, and explore different restaurants throughout New York City.
