Teacher – Movement Teacher LeSohn “Sohnny” Reagans was born and raised in HARLEM, NYC. He has been working with children since the age of 13 in many different roles. In 2002 he Earned his Associates Degree in Arts from Herkimer CCC & In 2004 earned his Bachelors Degree in Science from SUNY at Oneonta. At both College’s he played & led his Basketball team to win seasons. From 2004 to 2006 Sohnny was a Residential Advisor at Oneonta Job Corps Academy working & mentoring young people between the ages of 16 to 24. From 2006 to 2014 Sohnny was the Rising Stars & School-Aged Program Director at Union Settlement Association Providing out-of-school time services to 200+ kids at two different sites all year round. In 2014 Sohnny embarked on a new career with NYPD School Safety Division but quickly realized just after one year his Heart was in teaching and mentoring children. In 2015 he accepted a position at Achievement First where he spent 4 years until he came to Haven Academy in 2019 to be the Movement Teacher. In his free time, Sohnny teaches Group Fitness & Boot Camp Sessions to children and adults and loves hanging with his son MAXIMUS.
